Weekend Reading 5.21.23 | Worlds News Dock

My new store has been open for two weekends and so far so good. I feel like I’m in a period of growth and expansion right now. Running a retail art and gift shop is a bit out of my comfort zone, but this is where all the learning happens. It’s challenging and fun, but I have a huge support group and I’m getting better every day and learning as I go. I enjoy interacting with clients and exchanging ideas with nearby creatives and business owners. I’m fortunate to be part of a very supportive group of creators and artists. Finally I took some photos of my store, I will share them on Monday.

My daughter has completed her first year of college and is returning home next week. I’m very excited about her return, but she’s already busy making plans for a busy summer filled with work, school and travel. However, it will be nice to see her presence in California again.
