Two teenagers were injured after being hit by a car in Franklin, Tennessee.

FRANKLIN, Tennessee. (WKRN) — Two teenagers were injured Thursday night after being hit by a car in Franklin.

The Franklin Police Department said the accident occurred shortly before 5 p.m. at the intersection of Cool Springs Boulevard and Carronbridge Street.

Death at railroad crossing in Clarksville under investigation

Three teenagers aged 14, 15 and 16 turned on traffic lights and were at a crosswalk when the 14 and 16 year olds were hit by a car driving west on Cool Springs Boulevard. The driver immediately stopped and provided assistance until the first responders arrived, police said.

Officials said the victims of Brentwood and Franklin, respectively, were taken to the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital in Vanderbilt, where they are listed as stable.

No charges were filed and police said preliminary investigations show no drugs and/or alcohol were involved.
