Rajant Introduces Industry’s First BreadCrumb Module with Two Credit Card Size Radios at ProMat
Rajant Corporation, the pioneer of Kinetic Mesh® wireless networking, will be showcasing its new Cardinal BreadCrumb® module during Promat at Chicago’s McCormick Place at booth #N8550 from March 20-23. The Cardinal is powerful, lightweight and notably the smallest in Rajant’s line of industrial wireless nodes. Orders for this world’s first BreadCrumb module, specifically tailored to the needs of robotic automation in the warehouse market and Industry 4.0, will be accepted from next week.
Designed with automated robots in mind, including collaborative robots, automated storage/retrieval systems, autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), unmanned guided vehicles (UGVs, etc.), Rajant Cardinal can enhance your communications on the go in the most challenging environments . , Cardinal extends the range of traditional Wi-Fi beyond the limitations of fixed infrastructure without line-of-sight requirements using two transceivers with a total data rate of 1.73 Gbps. In addition to robotics and infrastructure in warehouse automation, this wireless node finds application in systems irrigation in agriculture, reclosers in the energy industry, PLC control in the oil and gas industry, UAVs and drones in the military and light show markets, and process automation in the manufacturing industry.
