KUWAIT (Reuters) – Kuwait’s constitutional court on Sunday annulled the results of last September’s parliamentary elections in the Arab Gulf state and ordered the restoration of the previously dissolved parliament.
The decision came at a time of renewed tension between the elected parliament and the government. Kuwait’s crown prince decided last year to end the political feud by dissolving parliament and calling early elections that were won by the opposition.
