Eric Gordon happy with Clippers return: ‘Good to be back’

Eric Gordon is more than happy to be back where his professional career began.
In an interview with Janice Carr of the Orange County Register, Gordon expressed his joy at being the LA Clipper again and ultimately helping the club fight the upcoming playoffs.
“It definitely means a lot (to be back),” he said. “It was a situation that I always wanted to be in and look forward to. We have a lot of talented guys and I think I sort of fit into their style of play and the way they do things. It’s good to be back.”
Having been with the Houston Rockets since 2016, Gordon was finally sent to Los Angeles in a multi-team deal, prompting a reunion for both sides.
Gordon made a notable start to his career with the Clippers, winning the franchise lottery in the 2008 draft. After three years, he was eventually handed over to the then New Orleans Hornets to complete Chris Paul’s mega-deal.
In 10 games played for the Clips this year, Gordon has 10.6 points, 2.3 assists and 1.7 rebounds on 40.4% of three shooting.
