Diablo 4 Sorcerer Leveling Build for Beta Testing
Sorcerer leveling in Diablo 4 focuses primarily on area of effect (AoE) due to the countless enemy mobs you need to destroy. Shock spells like Spark and Chain Lightning combined with Crackling Energy provide much-needed area-of-effect killing power.
Basic: Spark (Flicker) – Spark is a spammable spell and can easily bounce off other opponents. It’s also a way to generate crackling energy, small orbs that cause your character to emit lightning and hit nearby enemies.
Core: Chain Lightning (Destructive) – Chain Lightning bounces off enemies and your character with critical hits that can also trigger Crackling Energy.
Protection: Frost Nova (Mystic) – Frost Nova is perfect for leveling a Warlock in Diablo 4 as it is a key crowd control spell. Enemies will not only freeze, but also become vulnerable (i.e., take increased damage).
Spell: Hydra (Summoned) – Hydra is what you slap down as this creature acts like an autoturret. He will quickly fire at enemies and your critical hits will also increase his critical hit chance.
Mastery: Meteor (Wizard) – Meteor has a huge area of effect radius, which is even better with an improved variant. At the same time, hitting three or more enemies gives a chance that another Meteor will collapse.
Ultimate: Deep Freeze – Deep Freeze acts like a kill button, as it makes your character immune for four seconds. In addition, you will deal additional damage, inflict a Chill effect, and cause an explosion when the duration expires.
Hydra will bombard enemies with fire projectiles and you don’t even have to worry about it.
Passive:
Elemental Attunement is basically for resetting the cooldown of Frost Nova (or whatever defensive skill you choose). Glass Cannon is another viable option for extra DPS, although you also get more damage in return. Crackling energy is generated when your shock skills deal a critical hit.
Enchantment:
