The Lakers are currently in 10th place in the Western Conference with 34 wins and 37 losses. They’re two games behind the sixth-place Mavericks they lost to last night.
According to Dennis Schroeder, the Purple Gold’s goal is to move up to sixth place, which would give the team a straight playoff berth.
“Like I said, we just have to try to get seed number 6, that’s our goal and our desire. And then get out of there,” the German point guard said via Dan Woike of the Los Angeles Times.
The Lakers are 1-3 in their last four games, including a loss to the worst team in the West, the Rockets.
