A man was injured in a shooting at Murfreesboro Pike in Nashville, Tennessee, police said.

NASHVILLE, Tennessee. (WKRN) — Metro Nashville Police Department officers arrived in the Murfreesboro Pike area late Saturday afternoon to investigate a shooting that injured one person.

According to a Metro Nashville dispatch, the shooting was reported shortly before 4:45 p.m. on Saturday, April 1, in the 800 block of Murfreesboro Pike.

Officers at the scene told News 2 that the man was injured and taken to hospital.

Police said they had not identified any suspects involved in the shooting.
